Calling for help in an emergency should be the easy step. These are the commitments behind the number on this site, and the limits of them, stated in the same breath.
No voicemail, no office hours
The line on this site is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year, holidays included. Damage does not keep business hours and neither does the phone.
Free to you, start to finish
There is nothing to pay here. No sign-up, no fee for the introduction, no charge if you decide not to go ahead at all.
You are connected to a local independent contractor
You are put through to an independent contractor who holds whatever licences, registrations and permits this trade and Louisiana require for the job, carries its own insurance, and actually works in Kenner. Ask to see the paperwork before work starts — any contractor worth hiring expects the question.
A poor fit is fixed by one more call
You are not stuck with the first name you are given. Call back, say it was not a fit, and ask for another. That is what the line is for.
The part this service cannot promise
What this page does not do is guarantee the work itself. The contractors are independent; this site neither performs the work nor warrants it. Any workmanship guarantee comes from the contractor you hire, in writing, and it is worth asking for one.
